For mountain and hiking enthusiasts we can offer the Alpi Apuane mountains with their marble caves (90 km), the Garfagnana (80 km) with its famous “Grotta del Vento”, Mount Abetone in the Tuscan Apennines, with its botanic garden (75 km). For those who love the sea and shopping, we can suggest the exclusive Forte dei Marmi in the heart of Versilia (60 km), and only two hours car journey away are the famous Cinque Terre. Also Siena is at two hours by car (130 km).
